Viewing maps
When you open YourMap app in your web browser, by default it will show first map defined in the map tree.
To change the map viewed, select different one in the map tree on a left side of screen.
Below the map tree there is a list of map regions if any was defined for the currently viewed map.
When you click on a region name, the map will move to the specified region position and zoom.
You can also move the map by simply dragging it, zoom it by clicking on zoom buttons or using mouse scroll.
To zoom in about one step and move the map to a desired position, double click on a desired place.
Depending on current zoom level, markers and labels will be displayed in different manner. See Basic terms section for details how markers and labels behave on different zoom levels.
Linking
Every map, marker or region in YourMap has its own link to see it. When you select map from map tree, url address will be automatically updated, so you may copy it and send someone that he can use it to open YourMap app in the same map.
The same is applicable to regions and markers. When you click on a marker, until you close marker info popup, url address will contain link to that marker.
Marker searching
YourMap application allows you to search for markers.
To search for markers, click on Search tab on left side of screen.
In the displayed search form you can change marker type or search for all markers.
When you select search in all marker type, you can search only by marker title.
When you type into the search field a title, for example: "John Smith" it will also search for "Smith John"
If you decide to search only for specified marker type, the search form will show fields for all marker type parameters that was tagged as a searchable. If the parameter was defined as dictionary, it will show select box with all dictionary entries values.
When you click Search button, results will appear. Each marker in results will be shown with parameters that was tagged as visible when defining marker type. Additionally you will see two buttons, first for displaying info about marker and second for showing marker on a map.
Also in the results, you can see full breadcrumb to the map that the marker was created for. This breadcrumb can contain at the end the name of region that was assigned to the marker. It's only for better imagine where this marker is located on a map before you display it.
