YourMap administration panel is a place where you can configure, create, edit all maps, markers, labels and settings of your application.

To access administration panel add to your url pointing onto YourMap application following prefix: /admin.

In administration panel you can find often icon, this indicates a tip when you move mouse over it, it will show you some help about form fields.

Below you can find additional hints about managing maps, regions, markers etc.

To manage your maps select Maps tab from top of the screen.

You will see tree of all created maps in the application.

To edit map simply select it and click desired action above the map list.

You can drag map to another parent or another position on map tree.

When you create map you have to upload image for it. If you have any problems while uploading map image see: Uploading map image problems.

You can edit marker and label positions of the map by selecting Actions->Move elements when the map is selected. Then you will see the map with possibility to select markers or labels and move it into desired position.

To edit map regions select the map and click Actions->Edit regions, then you will see list of regions defined for this map.

Chose Add button to add new region or Edit to edit existing one.

If you wish to position region on the map, select Move on map button, then the map will be opened in region edition mode. Move the map view to desired position and click Save button.

To manage marker types select from top bar Map elements and click Marker types. You will see list of created marker types.

To edit or create new one select any and click desired action buttons form above the marker type list.

To manage dictionaries select Map elements->Dictionaries from top bar. You will see list of created dictionaries.

To edit dictionary select it and click Edit button.

When you're in edit dictionary screen, you may add new entry by typing into entry value field and clicking Add new new button or you can edit existing one by selecting it changing it's value and clicking Save button next to entry value input field.

To save all dictionary changes click on Save button.

To edit markers select from menu: Map elements->Markers. You will see list of created markers.

In this view you can sort table by clicking on specified column or even filter the list by title or map.

To edit the marker, select it and click Edit button. Alternative way to get into marker edition form is to click on Edit selected button when you're in moving elements view on the map.

To edit labels select from menu: Map elements->Labels. You will see list of created labels.

In this view you can sort table by clicking on specified column or even filter the list by title or map.

To edit the label, select it and click Edit button. Alternative way to get into label edition form is to click on Edit selected button when you're in moving elements view on the map.

In menu there is a Media option where you can browse, upload images and icons.

Images are used by markers, icons are used by labels and marker types.

To upload images or icons select desired option, click Select files to upload... and select files images for uploading.

In Tools->Settings you can change some default application settings, such as default search marker type, disable view tab or hide left panel on frontend.

All map display request from frontend are cached by default on PHP backend for better performance. Cache is automatically cleared when you do changes in administration panel. If you wish to clear cache manually, select Tools->Clear cache option from top menu.

To change administration panel password, select Change password form menu and fill displayed form.
